The Whistler RD-50x Radar Detector has a compact & discreet design that provides a new level of operating convenience. It includes an innovative Digital Compass to keep you on-course wherever you go. Its bright Blue OLED Text Display shows alerts detected, engaged modes & digital signal strength in easy-to-read text format (i.e. HIGHWAY or Ka9). Alert Priority displays most important signal when more than one is detected. Alert Periscope LED's on top of the unit provide bright blue visual alerts, allowing you to keep your eyes on the road. 360-degree MAXX Coverage & Total Band Protection ensure maximum protection from laser & radar signals including VG-2, Laser Ally, TruSpeed S and Laser Atlanta. High Gain Lens provides increased field of view which means better range. It has 3 different modes, including City & Highway, as well as the Traffic Flow Signal Rejection (TFSR) feature to reduce false alerts.
