- Instructions for Use: For best results, add only 4 oz of ACTIVE descaler to the reservoir for each cleaning. Then fill the remaining way to the fill line of your machine with clean water. Then for single-cup machines, run 2 brew cycles on the largest cup setting, disposing of dirty water between brews. For multi-cup machines, run a single large brew cycle into the coffee pot. Afterwards, rinse and wipe out the reservoir and other areas of the coffee maker. Finally, we recommend running an additional 1-2 brew cycles with clean water to remove any cleaning residues.
